Steve Shirley

Steve Shirley has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Steve is currently working as a Senior Regional Business Manager at Glaukos Corporation since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as a District Sales Manager at RVL Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from July 2021 to May 2022.

From 2019 to 2021, Steve worked at EyePoint Pharmaceuticals, starting as a Surgical/Cataract Key Account Manager in February 2019 and later becoming a Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast region. In this role, they managed key account managers responsible for selling Dexycu, a postoperative inflammation management drug, in six states.

Before that, Steve worked at Bausch + Lomb as a Premium Vision Manager from October 2016 to January 2019. Steve also gained experience as a Sales Consultant at Beaver Visitec International from July 2013 to October 2016, where they focused on sales of ophthalmic instruments, equipment, and dry eye products.

Prior to their roles in the pharmaceutical and ophthalmic industry, Steve worked as a Specialty Representative at Inspire/Merck from April 2009 to June 2013, promoting ophthalmic products to healthcare professionals in the Tampa Bay area. Steve also held positions as an Account Executive at Workplace Resource of Tampa Bay from March 2007 to February 2009 and as a Senior Commercial Account Executive at CORT from December 2004 to February 2007.

Steve's earlier experiences include playing minor league baseball for the San Diego Padres in 2003 and being an independent league baseball player for the Edinburgh Roadrunners in 2002.

Steve Shirley attended Tulane University from 1997 to 2002, where they pursued a degree in Media Arts and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. In August 2020, they also obtained additional certifications in "Managing Your Anxiety While Presenting," "Motivating and Engaging Employees," and "Transformational Leadership" from LinkedIn.
