Krzysztof Król

Krzysztof Król has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Krzysztof is currently working at GSK as a Principal Engineer, focusing on Big Data and Analytics solutions. In this role, they are responsible for combining and presenting R&D data to scientists and AI/ML processes. Krzysztof also creates architectural concepts and collaborates with multiple stakeholders to integrate data sources into a single ecosystem. Their tools of expertise include Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Azure Platform, and Kubernetes.

Prior to GSK, Krzysztof worked as a Senior Cloud Engineer at GSK, where they developed Cloud Native applications for Microsoft Azure and integrated SaaS applications with on-premise APIs.

Krzysztof also has experience at GFT Group as a Technical Lead .Net, where they served as a key technical resource from 2019 to 2020.

Before that, Krzysztof worked at C&S Software as a CTO/Solution Architect, where they designed and prototyped architecture for web and mobile applications across various platforms. Krzysztof managed application development and release cycles in an agile environment and coached teams in Scrum methodology.

Krzysztof has also held positions at intive as a Lead Software Development Engineer, Strategix Sp. z o.o. as a Software Development Manager and Product Development Manager, Pitch IT Institute Sp. z o.o. as a System Architect/CIO, Komputronik S.A. as an Analyst/Software Engineer .NET, Cafe News S.A. as a Development Team Leader, and Digitouch as a Software Developer.

Krzysztof Król earned their Masters degree in Physics with Computer Science from Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Krzysztof later pursued Post Graduate Studies in Enterprise IT Systems at Uniwersytet WSB Merito Poznań in 2012. In 2008 to 2009, they also completed Post Graduate Studies in Project Management at the same university.

In terms of additional certifications, Krzysztof obtained the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in November 2014. More recently, in July 2021, they became a Certified SAFe® 5.1 Practitioner through Scaled Agile, Inc.
