Debby Shepard

Debby Shepard has had an extensive career in product management, beginning in 1996 when they were a Product Manager at Cisco Systems, Inc. During their time there, they grew yearly revenues for Ethernet to the Home sales of the Catalyst 4000 Series switches 10x in three years. Debby then moved on to become a Product Manager at Skype, Inc in 2006, and a Consultant, Product Management for Self Employed in 2008. Debby also held a Senior Product Manager role at Cisco Telepresence System Business Unit from 2008-2011, and a Senior Product Manager for Amazon Echo role at Lab126 from 2011-2013. After a sabbatical in 2013, they joined AltspaceVR as Head of Product in 2015, where they led a team of 10 people and saw the service grow from the pre-VR sales alpha in 2015 to 35,000 MAU in 2017. From 2018-2022, they held a Group Product Manager role at Intercom, and currently holds a Product Manager role at Glean.

Debby Shepard has an educational background in Electrical Engineering. Debby earned a MS from Stanford University, a B.S. from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and attended the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.
