Stephen Platt

Stephen Platt has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the manufacturing industry. Stephen is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Glen Dimplex. Prior to this, Stephen worked at Baxter International Inc. where they held multiple positions including Director of EMEA Manufacturing Operations, Director of EMEA Quality & Operations - Compounding, and Plant Manager. Stephen was responsible for managing manufacturing facilities and overseeing the development and production of medical products. Stephen also worked as the General Manager at Advanced Medical Solutions, leading the UK sites and implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques. Additionally, they served as the General Manager at Nilfisk, where they had P&L responsibility for professional cleaning equipment. Stephen has also worked as a Senior Consultant at Performance Readiness Solutions, supporting various multinational companies in Lean Manufacturing and project management. Stephen'searly career includes positions at JCB Excavators as a Lean Manager and at Toyota Motor Corporation in vehicle manufacturing.

Stephen Platt earned a Diploma in Strategy and Leadership from IMD in 2008. Stephen is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration, Management, and Operations at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, with an expected graduation year of 2024.
