William Thomas

William Thomas has a diverse work experience in the technology and consulting industry spanning several companies. William co-founded Glidr Inc. in 2020 and serves as the Co-Founder and Product lead. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Technical Advisor at Skyboxe in 2019. In 2018, they established their own consulting firm, William Thomas Consulting, offering product, technology, and patent consulting services for companies such as Nimbus Frame, Skyboxe, and GLIDR. Before starting their consulting career, William held various senior roles at TiVo from 2016 to 2018, including serving as the SVP of Technology. From 2003 to 2016, they worked at Rovi, where they held several leadership positions, including SVP of Technology and SVP of Product Management. Prior to Rovi, William held CTO SVP roles at Liberty Broadband Interactive Television and Gemstar TV Guide. William also served as SVP at TV Guide Networks and SVP Product Development at Prevue Networks. William'searliest experience in the industry was as the VP of Product Development at TV Guide On Screen from 1993 to 1996.

William Thomas attended Purdue University from 1970 to 1974, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Following this, they continued their education at Purdue University from 1974 to 1975, completing a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
