Malala Mulavu is a skilled professional in biomedical sciences with significant research experience. Currently serving as a Research Promotion and M & E Officer at Global Health Corps since July 2023, Malala previously worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The National Institutes of Health from October 2020 to December 2022, where responsibilities included laboratory research, manuscript writing, DNA extraction, PCR, Sanger and NGS sequencing, data analysis, supervision of undergraduate research, and sample processing. Malala holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and two Master of Science degrees in Medical Parasitology, all obtained from the University of Zambia.
