Steven Henry

SVP of Health Economics at Global Nephrology Solutions

Steven Henry is the current SVP of Health Economics at Global Nephrology Solutions. Prior to this, they served as the Chief of Staff in the Office of the Founder at ChenMed from May 2018 to October 2021. There, they were responsible for the leadership of multiple areas within Information Technology, including informatics, physician systems, & population health systems encompassing the supervision of 11 team members. Steven also lead and oversaw the implementation of decision support initiatives, including best practice alerts, order sets, documentation templates, etc.

Henry has also been strategic in the planning of Population Health programs, including interoperability and system integration, and has engaged with Hospital departmental leaders to understand and develop custom code within the Epic system to automate and facilitate various clinical and operational hospital initiatives. In addition, they have managed and approved all system changes that impact physician workflows, and has met weekly with Chief Medical Officer to discuss and review current and upcoming clinical initiatives in order to ensure appropriate and accurate development.

Finally, Henry has designed advanced retraining curriculum for all Medical and House Staff, approximately 400 physicians; including selection of a vendor partner, staffing, and marketing. Steven has also been a member on hospital quality committees including: Readmission Reduction, Infection Prevention, Patient Satisfaction, HIT Safety, and Perioperative Review Committee; as well as a member of 6 person Executive steering committee charged with developing system wide, value based transformative strategy on accountable care and population health. Steven Henry has a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College in Philosophy/Art Steven'story. Steven also has a PharmD from Nova Southeastern University in Pharmacy. Steven has various Epic certifications in Ambulatory Order Transmittal, Ambulatory Admin, Decision Support Masters, Procedural Orders, Clarity OpTime Data Model, Clarity HIM Data Model, Clarity Inpatient Data Model, Reporting Workbench Admin, Willow 2010, and received Intellidose Corporate Training in Intellidose Administration. Steven also has ASHP PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency certification from Jackson Memorial Hospital and is Florida Licensed Pharmacist from the Florida Department of Health.

Steven Henry reports to Rajiv Poduval, CEO. They are on a team with Anna Gill - Chief Human Resources Officer, Guy Seay - CFO, and Chris Schmaltz - Chief Value-Based Care Officer.
