Christian Beckner

Christian Beckner serves as the Executive Director of the NRF Center for Digital Risk & Innovation at the National Retail Federation, focusing on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and emerging technology initiatives. Previously, Beckner held the position of Vice President for Retail Technology and Cybersecurity, leading various policy initiatives, including management of the NRF's CIO Council and cybersecurity program. In addition to current roles, Beckner holds positions as Vice Chair of the Commercial Facilities SCC, Adjunct Senior Fellow at CNAS, and Board Member of the Global Resilience Federation. Beckner's earlier experience includes leadership roles at the National Security Institute, the U.S. Senate Homeland Security Committee, and IBM, along with academic credentials from Stanford University and Georgetown University.
