Jacob Zentio Larsen

Group CIO, IT at GlobalConnect

Jacob Zentio Larsen is a telecommunications executive who is currently the Group CIO, IT at GlobalConnect. Jacob has also served as the Chief Operating Officer for Norlys Digital (Stofa & Eniig Fiber) and as a Senior Vice President at TDC.

Larsen began their career in the telecommunications industry at SE, where they served as the CIO and CTO. Jacob was in charge of IT and Technology at the Group level, supporting all three commercial brands: SE, Stofa, and Boxer. Jacob then moved to TDC, where they served as VP, TV Product Management & Technology, VP, Mobile and CaaS Product Management, SVP, Business Transformation, and Senior Vice President, Network Strategy and Product Development.

Larsen is responsible for IT supporting GlobalConnect's telecommunications network across Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Northern Germany. GlobalConnect is a leading technology- and data communications provider in Northern Europe with a full range of solutions from simple connectivity to full cloud services based on their own infrastructure. The Group has 74.500 km of fiber network and 18.000 square meters of data center space. GlobalConnect has 28.000 B2B customers and delivers high-speed fiber to 302.000 B2C customers in Norway and Sweden.

Jacob Zentio Larsen has an MBA from Dartmouth College - The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a B.Sc. from Copenhagen Business School. Jacob also has a Baccalaureat from Herlufsholm in Mathematics and Physics.
