Anthony Yu

Anthony Yu has extensive work experience in the technology industry. From 2005 to 2016, they held various leadership roles at IBM and GLOBALFOUNDRIES. Anthony served as Vice President, Computing and Wired Infrastructure Business Unit at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from October 2019 with no specified end date. Prior to that, they were Vice President, Product Line Management at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from June 2016 to October 2019. Before joining GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Anthony worked at IBM in multiple positions, including Industry Executive and Senior Location Executive from January 2010 to June 2015, Vice President, Microelectronic Design Services from February 2008 to December 2010, Vice President, Industrial Automation from January 2006 to February 2008, and Vice President, Electronic Design Technology Services from May 2005 to December 2005. In these roles, they were responsible for profit and loss, business development, sales, project management, and engineering in various areas of the technology industry.

Anthony Yu attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2019, where they completed an Executive Program in the field of study of Executive Program. Prior to that, they obtained a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Cornell University between 1984 and 1989. Anthony earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley from 1979 to 1984. Additionally, they pursued executive education at UPenn - Wharton in 2005, Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management in 1999, and Harvard Business School in 1997. Prior to their higher education, Anthony Yu attended Urbana High School.
