Dan Barfuss III has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. Dan started their career at Excellence in Tutoring as an ACT Tutor, where they taught and mentored high school students in various subjects. Dan then worked at Brigham Young University as a Research Assistant, conducting graduate-level research in shale oil decomposition and publishing a scientific paper. After that, they joined GRUNDFOS as an Application Engineer and later at Cascade Energy, Inc as a Project Engineer. Dan then entered the semiconductor industry, working as a Process Engineer CMP at IM Flash and later at Micron Technology, where they were also involved in RDA process engineering. Dan joined Texas Instruments as an RDA/Metro Process Engineer before their current position as a Principal Eng Process Engineering CMP at GlobalFoundries. Throughout their career, Dan has focused on defect analysis, root cause determination, process improvement, and project management.
Dan Barfuss III attended Brigham Young University from 2010 to 2015, where they earned their Bachelor's Degree in CET-Chemical Engineering.
