SVP Of Network Planning And Engineering at Globe Telecom

Joel R Agustin has over 20 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Joel R began their career as a Technical Management at Ericsson Telecommunications, Inc, where they were responsible for product management and worked on projects in Europe, USA, and APAC. In 2001, they joined Globe Telecom as the Director for Mobile Systems Engineering and Implementation, overseeing the planning and building of multi-million dollar networks. Joel R later served as the VP for Network Services and Solutions Development, where they established a new organization to develop innovative capabilities and offers for the market. Agustin then became the VP for Planning and Engineering for Fixed and Mobile Network, responsible for network strategies and expansion plans. In 2014, they were promoted to SVP - Service Management, leading a re-design of the network technical group to be more customer-centric. Currently, Agustin holds the position of SVP of Network Planning and Engineering at Globe Telecom, where they are responsible for delivering network expansions and improving customer experience.

Joel R Agustin attended De La Salle University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a BSECE degree in Electronics and Communications. Prior to that, they attended La Salle Greenhills from 1987 to 1991. In addition to their education, Joel has obtained several certifications including Executive Development from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, World Business Council for Sustainable Development leadership program from WBCSD, World Business Council for Sustainable Development from Yale Center for Business and the Environment, and WBCSD Leadership development program 2024 from IMD.
