Shekhar Swarup has a diverse work experience in the liquor sector, starting in 2008 as an Executive at Globus Spirits. Shekhar later served as the Executive Director and then the Joint Managing Director of the company. In 2018, they founded their own company, India Craft Spirits Co. Shekhar also serves as the Vice President of the All India Distillers’ Association. Prior to their liquor sector roles, they worked as an Analyst at SmartAnalyst in 2007.
Shekhar Swarup completed their education at The Doon School from 1999 to 2004 before pursuing a BSc in Business & Management at the University of Bradford from 2004 to 2007. Shekhar then obtained a Diploma in Business Analysis and Valuation from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2005. Shekhar also focused on Wine Appreciation and Wine Making at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust until 2011. Finally, they attended Harvard Business School from 2022 to 2024, completing the OPM 61 program.
