Andreas Freidig has a strong background in project management and leadership roles in the biopharmaceutical industry. Andreas currently serves as the R&D PMO Lead for Oncology and Director of R&D Project Management at Galapagos. Prior to that, they held the position of Project Management Leader and Director of R&D Project Management at the same company. Andreas also worked as the Compound Development Team Lead at Genmab. Before joining Genmab, Andreas was the Associate Director PMO at Johnson & Johnson and Senior Manager and Project Management Team Leader at Crucell (Johnson & Johnson). Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Manager at uniQure and TNO. Andreas also gained experience as a Guest Researcher at EAWAG. Andreas has a consistent track record of successfully managing projects and leading teams in the pharmaceutical industry.
Andreas Freidig obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology from Lund University from 1992 to 1993. Andreas then pursued their Master's degree in Environmental Sciences at ETH Zürich, completing it from 1989 to 1995. Following this, Andreas earned their PhD in Toxicology at Utrecht University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000.
