Carlos Vasquez has a diverse work experience in technical support and customer service roles. Carlos started their career at Netbank Payment Systems as a Technical Support Specialist, where they provided support to customers, sales teams, and field technicians. Carlos then moved on to MEI, where they worked as a Product Support Engineer and later as an Applications Engineer. In these roles, they focused on improving product quality through testing, conducted field investigations at customer sites, and provided technical support to customers.

After their time at MEI, Carlos joined the United States Postal Service as an Operations Industrial Engineer, where they applied engineering and continuous improvement processes to improve service and cost performance in mail processing operations.

Following their role at USPS, Carlos worked at X Factor Communications, Inc. as an Applications Engineer, where they tested web applications, desktop tools, and mobile alerting tools. Carlos also worked at Sensus as a Technical Support Engineer, supporting the development of smart grid, smart water, and smart city solutions.

Before their current role at Teleport as a Technical Support Engineer, Carlos worked at Sysdig as a Senior Customer Reliability Engineer. In this role, they provided support to customers using the Sysdig Monitor and Secure solution, focusing on helping customers deploy the solution in their Kubernetes environments.

Carlos Vasquez received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from Mississippi State University, where they attended from 1998 to 2002. After a gap of several years, they pursued further education and completed their Masters degree in Business Administration at West Chester University of Pennsylvania from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Carlos Vasquez obtained the certification of CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in October 2022.
