Darnell Head

Darnell Head has held a variety of roles in the education sector since 2005. In that year, they began working as Creative Director & Producer for Cultural Competence LLC. In 2008, they became a K-8 Teacher & Assistant School Leader for Chicago Public Schools. From 2012 to 2015, they were Director Of Strategic Partnerships for Teach For America and Director Of Operations for Relay Graduate School of Education. From 2016 to 2019, they were Senior Manager, Urban Education Partnerships for Discovery Communications. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as General Manager, Education for Goalsetter.

Darnell Head attained a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education Leadership from Concordia University Chicago in 2015, a Masters of Education in School Leadership from the same university in 2011, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Criminal Justice from Grand Valley State University in 2008.
