Shawn Lipstein

Design Director Shawn Lipstein has a long and successful history in the design field. Shawn began their career at Bellevue College as a member of the Board of Advisors from September 2020 to August 2021. In this role, Shawn was responsible for advising on design thinking concepts. From February 2018 to September 2021, Shawn was the Director of Design at GoDaddy, where they led a team of designers, set design strategy, and worked with the brand team. Shawn was also responsible for creating an environment where everyone could do their best work. In December 2015 to February 2018, Shawn was the Director of Design at Caradigm. At Caradigm, Shawn delivered the product vision spanning ten product offerings, installed and led user research activities, built and developed the design presence across the organization, and drove product strategy resulting in the deployment and release of three new product offerings. Shawn's work positively impacted the lives of 100s of thousands of patients. Shawn's responsibilities also expanded to include marketing design ownership, product management, and customer lead roles. In their current role as Design Director at GoDaddy, Shawn is continuing their tradition of excellence in the design field.

Shawn Lipstein earned a BS in Industrial Design from Carleton University.
