Xiaoyue Zhu is currently a Data Scientist II at GoGuardian, where they have led the development and deployment of data solutions for a flagship product that provides web filtering for millions of K-12 students. Prior to this role, Xiaoyue completed a PhD in Neuroscience at New York University, where they were advised by Prof. Jeffrey Erlich, focusing on decisions under risk in rats. They also have experience as a Teaching Assistant at NYU and as a Research Assistant at University of St Andrews and UC Irvine. Xiaoyue also volunteered as a Research Assistant in South Africa. Their academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from University of St Andrews and UC Irvine.
