Kamen Penev

Kamen Penev has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 1998, they worked at Adept Technology Inc. as a Sr. Robotics Software Engineer, where they developed real-time embedded software for industrial robotics and ported compilers and operating systems until 2005. Kamen then joined Microsoft, where they held various positions such as Software Development Engineer, Senior Development Lead, and Principal Engineering Manager from 2005 to 2018. In 2018, they transitioned to MGM Resorts International as Vice President, Engineering Services until 2021. Currently, Kamen Penev is working as the SVP Data Platforms at GoHealth since 2023.

Kamen Penev obtained a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, following their education at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski from 1987 to 1992.
