Kimberly Arias

Kimberly Arias is a dedicated medical professional and educator, currently serving as a Medical Assistant/Scribe at Golden State Dermatology since May 2022. With extensive experience in STEM education and mentorship, Kimberly has been involved with SMASH since June 2015 as a SMASH Academy Scholar and Ambassador, where activities included organizing events and influencing organizational policies. Kimberly coordinated the BSP Mentorship Program from July 2020 to May 2023, connecting students with mentors in the science field. Additional experiences include a UCSF Kaiser Undergraduate Research Internship, training in healthcare through MIMS, and providing community health education as a Conference Coordinator for Comunidad for Health Equity at UC Berkeley. Kimberly holds a degree in Molecular & Cell Biology with a focus on Neurobiology from the University of California, Berkeley, completed in 2022.
