Everton Callum

Everton Callum, SPHR has a strong background in human resources, with experience spanning over two decades. Everton currently holds the position of Global Vice President and Head of Human Resources at G&H Photonics, starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Human Resources Director for Company Owned Entities & Consumer Marketing at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company from March 2022 to May 2023, and as the HR Director for Global Technology from July 2018 to March 2022. Everton has also worked as the Global HR Director for Technology, Finance, Marketing & Strategy in the Information Technology Division of Schneider Electric from June 2016 to July 2018. Before that, they held the role of HR Manager for the Global Research, Science & Technology Division at Corning Incorporated from July 2011 to June 2016. Everton started their career at Microsoft Corporation as an HR Manager for the SharePoint Group in the Microsoft Office Division, working from February 2007 to July 2011. Prior to their corporate experience, they worked as a Senior Lecturer in Human Resources Management, International Business, and Industrial Relations at Portmore Community College from September 1995 to July 2005.

Everton Callum, SPHR, holds a Master's degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, School of Labor and Employment Relations, which was obtained from 2005 to 2006. Everton also possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from The University of the West Indies, Mona, acquired between 1992 and 1995. In terms of additional certifications, Everton obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation from HRCI in September 2010. Moreover, they have participated in training programs such as the Korn Ferry 360 Feedback Facilitation and Coaching, as well as the Korn Ferry Assessment for Leadership Potential (KFLAP), both offered by Korn Ferry. Furthermore, Everton holds a certification called SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, but the exact date of attainment is unknown.
