Richard Tetrault

Rick Tetrault has extensive experience in healthcare administration. Richard (Rick) currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Good Samaritan Medical Center since May 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President of Operations at the same company from October 2021 to May 2023. Before joining Good Samaritan Medical Center, Rick was the Senior Director at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center from December 2019 to October 2021. Richard (Rick) also worked as the Executive Director at Steward Health Care from January 2019 to December 2019. From July 2011 to January 2019, Rick held the role of Director of Operations at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Their career in healthcare administration began at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where they served as the Administrative Director from June 1997 to July 2011.

Rick Tetrault has an extensive education history. Richard (Rick) pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth from 1986 to 1990, graduating with honors (magna cum laude). Following this, they attended the University of Findlay from 1991 to 1992, studying Nuclear Medicine Technology. Richard (Rick) did not obtain a degree during this time. In 2003, Rick enrolled in The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Health Sciences with a focus on Clinical Leadership/Clinical Practice Management from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained various certifications in their field, including being a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), and a Registered Technologist - Nuclear RT(N) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Rick also holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, with a Six Sigma Lean Green Belt in Healthcare - Advanced from the MSI Management and Strategy Institute and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com.
