Michelle G. R.

Michelle G. R.'s work experience starts in 1996 when they worked as a Staff Nurse and Home Health Nurse at PALMS OF PASADENA HOSPITAL until 1998. From 1999 to 2003, Michelle worked as a Medical Case Manager at Travelers, specializing in telephonic case management for Workers Compensation claims and was selected for a Pilot Leadership Program. In 2004, they became a Medical Case Manager at Lifepath Hospice, where they also served as a Nurse Case Manager for SNF and ALF teams, Nurse Preceptor, and Team Leader. Michelle then joined the Department of Veterans Affairs as a CARE COORDINATOR RN in 2008 until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, Michelle worked as a Population Healthcare Manager and Registered Nurse at Florida Blue. In 2016, they helped establish and manage Goldenday Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, a placement agency for healthcare professionals. Concurrently, Michelle also worked as a Book Author at CEO Michelle Rhodes Media LLC from 2016 to 2020. Michelle G. then served as an Opinion Columnist and Healthcare Writer at CEOWORLD magazine from 2021 until present. In 2020, Michelle became the Chief Executive Officer of Color of Wellness Media, an award-winning digital media platform aiming to close knowledge and wellness gaps within communities of color. Currently, they also work at GoodRx as a Healthcare Writer and Patient Experience Storyteller, starting in 2022.

Michelle G. R. has a diverse education history. Michelle G. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in the years 1991-1995. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Health Science from the University of Central Florida from 1999-2001.

Finally, Michelle completed a certificate program in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from the Jim Moran Institute at Florida State University. Furthermore, they attended the Veterans Florida program in 2017-2018 and obtained a certificate in Veterans Entrepreneurship.
