Sylvia Simmons Jenkins

Sylvia Simmons Jenkins has extensive work experience in various roles related to HRIS and business analysis. Sylvia is currently working as a Sr. Manager of HRIS at GoodRx since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Centene Corporation as a Senior Business Systems Analyst from July 2017 to April 2022, where they provided support for Workday, Cornerstone, and Taleo systems. Before that, they worked at Health Net as a Sr. Business Analyst from October 2007 to July 2017, where they managed PeopleSoft HRIS and supported various HR departments. Sylvia also has experience as a Sr. Business Analyst at CB Richard Ellis from May 2006 to October 2007 and at Mattel from July 2004 to May 2006. Their early career includes an analyst role at Hilton Hotels Corporation from February 1999 to July 2004 and a sales coordinator/administrator role at Pitney Bowes from 1993 to 1998.

Sylvia Simmons Jenkins earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from California State University, Los Angeles, from 1995 to 2000. Sylvia furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Professional Studies in Human Resources and Employment Relations at Penn State World Campus, specializing in Employment and Labor Law, from 2012 to 2018.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sylvia obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. In May 2010, they received the Human Resource Information Professional (HRIP) certification from the International Association for Human Resource Information Management. Subsequently, in April 2014, Sylvia obtained the AtomSphere Integration Cloud Certification from Dell Boomi. Most recently, in March 2022, they acquired the Workday Pro - HCM Core certification from Workday.
