Colleen Doherty

Colleen Doherty is an experienced lighting designer with a strong background in both collaborative and independent projects in theatre. Currently serving as the Associate Lighting Designer for The 12 at Goodspeed Musicals and the Assistant Lighting Designer for the Broadway production of Here Lies Love, Doherty has held various roles in notable productions such as Paradise Square and Black No More. With a Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design from Rutgers University and dual Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Technical Theatre and Theatre Performance from Florida Southern College, Doherty has also contributed to educational settings as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Freelance work since 2011 includes notable engagements at JOE'S PUB AT THE PUBLIC THEATER and participation in events like Broadway Backwards.
