Eugenio Donadio

Eugenio Donadio is the current Chief Impact Officer at Goodwall. Prior to this, they held the position of International Business Development Manager at Plan International from October 2018 to October 2020. In this role, they were responsible for the co-development of Light Touch and Innovation Model with McKinsey & Company, leading new business development, Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability initiatives, and coordination of operations and scale-up. This included management of staff, KPIs design and measurement, and progress reporting. Under their leadership, income increased by 23% in the first year and admin costs decreased by 36%, with total expenditure reduced by 64%. Eugenio also successfully created new partnerships with companies, foundations, and High Net Worth Individuals.

From October 2014 to September 2017, Eugenio served as Programme Manager at Plan UK. In this role, they were responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of international development programmes. Eugenio also oversaw the delivery of high quality programmes that met or exceeded donor expectations, managed budgets of up to £5 million, and supervised a team of up to 20 staff.

Eugenio then spent one year as International Programmes Director at GVC Italia from September 2017 to October 2018. In this role, they were responsible for leading the international programmes team, developing and implementing the organisation’s international strategy, and managing relationships with key partners and donors.

Eugenio began their career at GVC as Operations Manager from June 2009 to September 2014 before taking on progressively more senior roles. As Operations Manager, they were responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation and ensuring that all programmes were delivered on time and within budget. Eugenio also managed a team of up to 30 staff and developed strong relationships with external partners.

Eugenio Donadio has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Water Management and Territory Use in Developing Countries from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca. Eugenio also has a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Civil Engineering from Università degli Studi di Brescia and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Brescia. Eugenio is certified by City & Guilds in Data Protection, UNICEF in Disaster Risk Reduction, QA Learning in Prince II Foundation, and International Location Safety in Security Awareness and First Aid Training.

They work with Dominik Zotti - Managing Director, Omar Bawa - Co-Founder & COO, and Tiago Cunha - Head of Strategy. Eugenio Donadio reports to Taha Bawa, Co-Founder & CEO.
