Charles Smith has a significant work experience in various roles and positions. Charles most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA, starting in March 2022. Before that, they held the position of CFO, Vice President, and Treasurer at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design from July 2021 to March 2022.

Charles then attended the University of Connecticut from 1996 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Law. Later, from 2009 to 2012, Charles pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance and Accounting at Regis University.
