Charles Smith

Charles Smith has a significant work experience in various roles and positions. Charles most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA, starting in March 2022. Before that, they held the position of CFO, Vice President, and Treasurer at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design from July 2021 to March 2022.

Prior to this, Charles was the Executive Director at Airlie from September 2016 to October 2021. Charles also worked at American University, where they held multiple positions, including Assistant Vice President of Auxiliary Services from September 2020 to July 2021, Executive Director of Auxiliary Services from October 2016 to September 2020, and Director of Auxiliary Services before that.

Charles also has experience from their time at Savannah College of Art and Design, where they served as the Vice President for University Resources from 2013 to 2015 and in the role of Auxiliary Services in 2012-2013.

Charles started their career as the CFO of Retail Services at the University of Colorado at Boulder in January 2011 and held the position until June 2012. Prior to that, Charles worked as the Assistant Director for Operations at the University of Colorado, Division of Retail Services from 2003 to 2011.

Charles Smith completed their high school education at Fairfield Prep from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a general course of study. Charles then attended the University of Connecticut from 1996 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Law. Later, from 2009 to 2012, Charles pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance and Accounting at Regis University.
