Prateek Kolhar

Prateek Kolhar is an experienced machine learning professional currently serving as a Staff ML Engineer and Manager at Google, focusing on Google Gemini since April 2023, and previously contributing to the Google Assistant Natural Language Understanding Research team in various roles. Prior to joining Google in July 2019, Prateek was a Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, completed an internship as an Applied Scientist at Amazon Lab126, co-founded ZPX as Chief Technology Officer, and worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Goldman Sachs. Prateek also held several leadership and organizational roles at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and interned in research and engineering capacities at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and Saranyu Technologies. Prateek holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin and a dual degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
