Shailaja Pittie

Shailaja Pittie is an experienced DEI Practitioner and Senior Executive Recruiter at Google, focusing on Google Cloud and executive hiring across the APAC region since November 2016. With a strong background in talent acquisition, Shailaja has successfully led executive searches for high-profile roles within Google’s Workspace and Cloud Business Platform, significantly contributing to products with over three billion active users. Prior to this, Shailaja held key positions at Apigee, where talent strategies were implemented, and engineering teams were rebuilt, playing a crucial role in the company's public market introduction. Shailaja has also worked as an Engineering Recruiter at Google and as a Recruiter at Microsoft R&D India. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Computer Management and a PGDHRM in Human Resource Development.
