Sudhakar Sannakkayala

Sudhakar Sannakkayala is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Google since February 2024, Sudhakar oversees engineering teams for Google Cloud's AI and High Performance Compute Products and Services. Prior to this, Sudhakar was the Director of Engineering at Meta, focusing on AI Infrastructure and large model training. Sudhakar has held multiple leadership roles at Microsoft from 1999 to 2022, including General Manager overseeing Azure Open Source Database services and Azure Database Migration Service, and Partner Director for Microsoft Data services. Additionally, Sudhakar served as a Board Member at MariaDB Foundation from April 2018 to January 2022. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Technology from Osmania University and a pending Master's in Computer Science from Utah State University.
