Tia Arzu is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in privacy law and intellectual property. During tenure at AT&T from 2007 to 2013 as General Attorney for Privacy, Tia provided legal support on various privacy issues and contributed to strategic wireless product initiatives. Following this, Tia worked at Google from 2013 to present, initially as Senior Counsel and currently as Director of Google Play Legal, overseeing a team that addresses complex legal matters related to Google's global online store. Additional experience includes roles at Cingular Wireless and Alston & Bird, where Tia honed expertise in advertising, marketing law, and intellectual property transactions. Tia earned a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Georgia State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology from Georgia Institute of Technology.
