Cameron Cook

Cameron Cook, ASA, CIA, CDBV has over 30 years of experience in business valuations, intangible asset appraisals, and financial consulting. Cameron has held various roles throughout their career, starting as an International Equities Analyst Intern at Deutsche Bank in 1988. From 1989 to 1992, they worked as a Commercial Finance Examiner at Bank One, where they reviewed and evaluated asset-based lending and commercial banking clients. In 1992, they became the Financial Controller for a $15 million international manufacturing company, responsible for accounting and financial management. From 1995 to 1998, they worked as a Senior Internal Auditor at Audit Force, performing internal audits and providing consulting services to various clients. From 1998 to 2000, they joined AccuVal Associates, now Gordon Brothers, as an Associate, managing business valuations for national corporations. Then, from 2000 to 2003, they worked as the Business Valuation Manager at Wipfli LLP, managing engagements for middle-market and small closely held companies. Currently, they serve as the Managing Director of Business Valuations and Intellectual Property Appraisals at Gordon Brothers Group, overseeing business valuations and intangible asset appraisals for a wide range of purposes, including financial reporting, litigation support, and merger and acquisition assistance.

Cameron Cook, ASA, CIA, CDBV, holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the field of Behavioral Science and Law, with a minor in Psychology, earned between 1981 and 1985. Additionally, Cook completed an MBA from the Wisconsin School of Business, focusing on Finance, Investments, and Banking, from 1986 to 1988. Cook has also obtained various certifications, including Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) from the American Society of Appraisers in 2003, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors in 1997, and Certification in Distressed Business Valuation (CDBV) from the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors in 2010.
