Duncan Ainscough has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Duncan started their career in 1993 as an Auctioneer at Hilditch Group Ltd., where they conducted monthly plant and machinery auctions and managed on-site sales of hospitals and factories. From 1997 to 2000, they worked as a Senior Auctioneer at Dreweatts & Bloomsbury Auctions, specializing in industrial equipment sales and valuations for corporate clients, SMEs, and the healthcare and finance industries.

In 2000, Duncan joined GoIndustry DoveBid as an Associate Director, responsible for business development and deal structuring. Duncan later became the Business Development Manager and focused on the corporate disposal sector.
