Chester Powell

Chester Powell has a diverse range of work experience. Chester started their own business, Powells Tax Service, in 2014 and is currently the owner. Prior to that, they worked at Gore Design Ltd. as the Chief of Maintenance starting from 2008. Chester also worked at L-3 Communications as a Production Supervisor from 2003 to 2007. Chester had a role as Chief Aircraft Scheduler from 2002 to 2003, where they monitored and maintained the inspection/maintenance schedule for a fleet of aircraft. Chester also performed structural maintenance and modifications on Airbus A319, A320, and A330 aircraft during this time. Before that, they worked at Boeing Aircraft Service Center as a Structures Mechanic from 2001 to 2002. Chester also has experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor at Dee Howard Aircraft Maintenance L.P from 1998 to 2001. Chester started their career as an Aircraft Mechanic at Southwest Airlines in 2000. Chester's longest tenure was in the United States Air Force, where they served as an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor from 1978 to 1998.

Chester began their studies at the Community College of the Air Force from 1986 to 1998, earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Avionics Maintenance Technology/Technician. Following this, they attended the University of Maryland Global Campus from 1992 to 1998, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science and Government.
