Program Assistant For Cross Country Track And Field At Goshen Central School District at Goshen Central School District

Richard Furst has extensive experience in education and coaching, serving as a Program Assistant for cross country and track and field at Goshen Central School District since 2020. Prior to this, Furst held the position of Assistant Coach at Goshen Central School District from 2015 to 2017, primarily focusing on middle distance runners. Furst also has a long tenure at Warwick Valley Central School District as an Earth Science Teacher and Running Coach from 1975 to 2015. In addition to educational roles, Furst has been actively involved with the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference since 2015, volunteering in trail building and maintenance on the Doris Duke trail. Furst's academic background includes degrees in School Administration and Supervision from Iona and the College of New Rochelle, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology Education from Clemson University.
