Talal Bahra

Talal Bahra is an experienced professional in urban planning and architectural design, currently serving as the Head of Master Planning and Strategic Studies Section at the Ras Al Khaimah Municipality Department since January 2015. Talal has held various roles, including Chief Engineer in the CEO Office, managing town planning operations and overseeing the "Town Planning Data Cleansing Project," and serving as a Senior Urban Planner, where responsibilities included approving detailed master plans and leading the Development Regulation Committee. Prior experience includes positions at Al Hamra Engineering Consultant as a Senior Architect/Urban Designer, and working with Mouhajer International Design on mega project designs. Talal also has teaching experience as a part-time instructor at Damascus University and has contributed to projects funded by the European Commission. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Urban Governance from EPFL and a Master’s degree in Architectural Design from Damascus University.
