Jason Windsor is the Chief Health Information Officer at GovernmentCIO. Jason has over 20 years of experience in the health information technology field. Jason has a deep understanding of client technology needs in health care delivery environments. Jason leads a team focused on innovation incubation, intellectual property development, integration and system architecture, new business solutioning, capability roadmaps and data strategies. Jason has worked closely with peers in client program management and business development to identify and proactively develop health IT solutions for the organization's Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs clients, and new Federal clients.

Jason Windsor has a Master’s Degrees in Nursing, Health IT, and Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland. Jason also has a BS in Nursing from the University of Central Missouri. Jason is certified in Program Management and Federal Acquisition Certification - Contracting Level II (FAC-C) from the Defense Acquisition University. Jason is also certified as a Contract Officer Representative from the Defense Acquisition University. In addition, they are a certified Advanced Open Water Diver from PADI and a Certified Informatics Nurse Specialist (RN-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Finally, they are a Certified Emergency Nurse from the Emergency Nurses Association and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information Management Systems (CPHIMS) from HIMSS.

Jason Windsor reports to Brian Moran, Chief Executive Officer. Jason Windsor works with Ryan Elliott - VP, Business Development, Erin Squires - Chief of Staff to the CEO, and Michael Hoffman - President, Media.
