Ken Carstensen

Ken Carstensen is a Splunk ITSI Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, currently working at GovCIO. Ken previously worked as a Monitoring Technical Lead at Rockhammer Talent Solutions for the 2020 Census Technical Integrator project. Before that, Ken was a Senior Systems Engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific, managing monitoring systems for the organization. Ken also served as a Systems Engineer at Life Technologies, responsible for designing and implementing backup solutions for global data centers. Ken holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Hood College and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Lynchburg.
