Merritt McCuskey

Professional Engineer at GPD Group

Merritt McCuskey has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 as a General Maintenance worker for the City of Madison Parks and Recreation Department. In 2010, they worked as a Carpenter's Assistant at A Deck Above. McCuskey then transitioned to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2011, where they took on the role of Student: Senior Design Project. In this position, they designed a re-purposed Biomass burning Power Plant for Shaw Group, overseeing a team of four engineering students. They were responsible for various tasks such as developing a fire suppression system, sizing water tanks, overseeing erosion control plans, and reviewing stormwater plans. Since 2013, McCuskey has been working as a Professional Engineer at GPD Group.

Merritt McCuskey completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from Pfeiffer University between 2006 and 2010. Later on, between 2010 and 2012, Merritt pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
