April Zhu has over five years of experience in the talent acquisition field. April began their career as an Associate Consultant with Hydrogen Group in December 2013. In this role, they provided support to clients in the areas of recruitment and selection. April then joined Randstad Sourceright as a Senior Recruiter in December 2014. In this role, they were responsible for providing onsite talent acquisition support for corporate service and IT recruitment in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Korea and Japan. April also received several awards for their outstanding performance, including Consultant of the Year 2015 and Outstanding Achievement – Account Q1 2016.
In April 2016, April joined GIC as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. In this role, they partnered with business stakeholders in the Technology Group to manage the full recruitment life-cycle from initial candidate assessment to conducting interviews and offer management. April was also responsible for recruiting for roles such as Application Development, Software Development, GIC labs, Data Engineering, Data Scientist, IT infrastructure, and Change Management.
April is currently working as an HRBP at Grab. In this role, they are responsible for supporting Grab’s business units in all aspects of HR.
