We have a Full-Time Assistant Boutique Manager opportunity based in our New Jersey Boutique offering an exciting next step in your career with us at Grace Loves Lace! 

Reporting into the Boutique Area Manager you will support with guiding the boutique and team to provide exceptional customer service, deliver strong individual and boutique sales performance across all KPI’s and ensure the boutique operations are met to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Consistently meet individual KPI benchmarks and monthly sales targets while assisting the boutique team in meeting all KPI benchmarks

  • Drive team sales and lead by example with providing exceptional bride experiences and exceeding personal sales targets

  • Conducting weekly sample cycle counts and monthly sample sale cycle counts.

  • Overseeing gown maintenance including dry cleaning expenses and inventory management

  • Completing weekly trade notes and reporting analysis to the Boutique Area Manager

  • Managing the cancellations list, waitlist, boutique booking and email account

  • Complete NetSuite (CRM system) audits for the boutique team

  • Support in coaching stylists and providing ongoing team training in product knowledge, selling techniques and NetSuite processes

  • Prepare for product launches and facilitate team product training sessions as per the annual training calendar

  • Support with onboarding new Stylists

  • Assist with managing any leave requests and rostering

  • Handles operational requirements including repairs and maintenance, supply orders, sample care, and looks for improved efficiencies.

  • Support with Local Networking/Connections & potential local Influencers.

  • Opportunity to attend local wedding market and industry meetings

  • Addresses employee concerns in the Managers absence and partners with RSSM and P&C when appropriate

  • Provide insight and feedback to Management and other relevant business departments

  • Manage the boutique booking email account, manage cancellations list and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner

  • Oversee Visual Merchandising as per brand guidelines and responsible for Inventory Listing and accuracy for Boutique Inventory

  • Act as a brand ambassador and always represent the brand with integrity and be a role model of appropriate behaviors in a leadership capacity

  • Responsible for security processes within the Boutique including the locking of the boutique and setting alarms/cameras as is specific to each boutique

Essential Knowledge & Experience: 

  • At least 1 year of tenure as a Stylist with Grace Loves Lace if an internal applicant

  • Demonstrated achievement of individual sales and CVR targets at or above GLL benchmark

  • Proven track record in achieving excellent sales results and exceeding KPIs

  • Ability to work individually and in a team to achieve targeted results

  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships through the customer journey

  • Able to learn quickly and retain information across a diverse and high-quality product range

  • The ability to lift & move boutique stock when required as well as stand for most of shift to facilitate bridal appointments

  • Be hard working with strong multi-tasking skills

  • Highest standard of attention to detail

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and administration ability as following up with brides and customers is a key part of the Stylist role

  • Able to work weekends and have the flexibility to take on extra shifts as needed

  • Intermediate IT & Administration capability skills. Experience using an iPad, MS Office & data entry eg. NetSuite is advantageous

  • Our peak times are the weekend so the successful candidate must be able to work weekends

  • Experience working with clientele in an appointment-based retail environment

  • Fabric or gown construction knowledge

  • You must have open working availability & can commit to consistent weekend work, being our busiest days. This is a Full-Time role (5 day per week - 40 hours).
