Joe Elderiny

Joe Elderiny serves as the Chapter Chair of the University of Birmingham Dubai ACM Student Chapter since October 2022 and has been a Jiujitsu Instructor with Gracie Barra Association since May 2022. Previously, Joe held the position of President of the Student Association at the University of Birmingham Dubai from November 2020 to November 2022, overseeing student leadership and event management. Joe's experience also includes working as a Property Consultant at Dreamcatcher Real Estate, where top sales performance was achieved in a short period, and roles at the University of Toronto as Engineering Campus Experience Officer and Vice President of Public Relations for Toastmasters. Additional experiences include serving as a Product Specialist at Apple, Speaker Coordinator and TEDx Speaker for TED Conferences, and a public speaking role at GEMS Education. Joe holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto.
