Steven Roos has a diverse work experience in the field of technology, spanning over several years. Steven is currently employed at GrAI Matter Labs as an AI Processor Architect, starting in August 2022. Steven holds a Ph.D. from Delft University of Technology, where they worked as a Ph.D. student from January 1998 to June 2002, conducting research on computer architectures with heterogeneous distributed resources and developing a space-time graph model for instruction scheduling algorithms.

Steven Roos earned a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, which they attended from 1992 to 1997. Additionally, they pursued a year of study in Psychology at Leiden University from 1995 to 1996.
