Clinical Laboratory Scientist II at GRAIL

Kevin Tan has a diverse work experience primarily in the field of laboratory sciences. Kevin started their career at Parkside Optometry as an Optometric Assistant from January 2016 to July 2016. Kevin then joined Genomic Health as a Sample Accessioning Technician from August 2016 to August 2017. Following this, they worked at GRAIL, Inc. as a Clinical Laboratory Associate from August 2017 to August 2019. Kevin then joined Genomic Health again as a CGMBS Trainee from August 2019 to September 2020. Kevin later joined Exact Sciences as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I from September 2020 to March 2021. Currently, they work at GRAIL as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I since March 2021, with a role change to Clinical Laboratory Scientist II starting from March 2023.

Kevin Tan completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biological Sciences with a focus on Human Biology from the University of California, Merced from 2012 to 2015. In 2019 to 2020, they enrolled in the Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist Training Program at San Jose State University, although no specific degree name was provided. Prior to their university education, they attended Mills High School from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, Kevin obtained certifications in Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist from the California Department of Public Health in September 2020 and in Technologist in Molecular Biology (MB) from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), also in September 2020.
