Haakon S. Brænden

Haakon S. Brænden currently serves as the Kommunalsjef for helse og omsorg at Gran Kommune, managing an area with 250 employees and a budget of 240 MNOK since September 2022. Prior to this, Haakon held multiple leadership roles at Bydel Stovner from August 2019 to September 2022, including Avdelingsdirektør for samhandling og digital transformasjon, and Avdelingsdirektør for helse, aktivitet og mestring, overseeing a substantial budget and workforce focused on health and well-being services. Earlier experience includes positions as Seniorrådgiver at A-2 Norge AS, CIO at Diakonhjemmet Sykehus, and management roles at BIT Consulting and Sykehuset Østfold. Haakon holds a degree in computer engineering and technical cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and completed an executive education program at the Norwegian School of Economics.
