Christopher Balaban

Christopher Balaban has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance industry. Christopher is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Grand Sierra Resort since March 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of CFO - VP Finance at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento from November 2018 to March 2021.

In 2018, Christopher worked as a Project Consultant at Hard Rock International. Christopher also served as the VP Finance at Primm Valley Resorts & Casino - Affinity Gaming from April 2016 to May 2017.

Before that, they had a long tenure at Penn National Gaming and Hollywood Casinos, where they held the roles of VP of Finance from February 2012 to March 2016, and Director of Finance from May 2009 to February 2012.

Christopher's career started at Seminole Gaming in 2002, where they held various roles including Director of Finance from May 2008 to May 2009 and from October 2005 to May 2008. Christopher also served as Manager - Director of Financial Planning Analysis from November 2002 to October 2005.

Their early career experience includes working as a Senior Financial Analyst at Kerzner International from November 1998 to November 2002.

Christopher Balaban completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Finance, General at the University of South Florida from 1991 to 1995. Christopher later pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Florida Atlantic University, studying from 2000 to 2004.
