Jennifer Warren

Jennifer Warren has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and positions. Jennifer currently holds the role of Senior Executive Vice President, Head-Institutional Services and Equipment Finance at Wilmington Trust, starting in January of 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Corporate Director at Granite Real Estate Investment Trust (GRP/U) from June 2018. Jennifer also worked as an Entrepreneur Mentor at FinTech Innovation Lab from March 2018 to May 2023.

Jennifer has held various roles at Computershare, including CEO Issuer Services, North America, Head of US Issuer Services, and Managing Director -- Head, US Region; President and CEO, CIBC World Markets Corp. Their tenure at Computershare lasted from December 2018 to November 2021.

Before their time at Computershare, Jennifer had an extensive career at CIBC, where they served as Managing Director, Head of US Region, and President and CEO of CIBC World Markets Corp from January 2014 to December 2017. Jennifer also held the position of Senior Vice President, General Counsel (Canada) from February 2006 to December 2013.

Jennifer has also held positions at CIBC Atlantic Trust Private Wealth Management and CIBC Mellon, where they were a Member of the Board of Directors from January 2014 to December 2017 and from March 2006 to November 2013, respectively.

Prior to their roles at CIBC, Jennifer was Vice-President, Assistant General Counsel at Rogers Communications Inc. from June 1996 to August 2005. Jennifer began their career as a lawyer, working as a Senior Associate at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP from January 1994 to June 1996, following their time as an Articling Student and Associate Lawyer from May 1989 to January 1994.

Jennifer Warren earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) as well as a Bachelor of Science with High Distinction from the University of Toronto between 1986 and 1989. In 2018, they attended the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, completing the Fintech Innovation Programme. Additionally, they hold certifications in FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
