Andrew Dix

Andrew Dix is an experienced professional with extensive work experience in various roles. Andrew started their career in 1999 at Mars Electronics as a Software Manager, where they successfully implemented project sizing and estimation processes. Andrew then moved on to Panasonic, where they served as the Head of SQA and later as a Project Manager. During their tenure at Panasonic, they were responsible for establishing and implementing an SQA function and managing product development projects. Andrew also worked as a Consulting Project Manager at Ascent Media and as a Solutions Architect and Project Manager at Pharos Communications. At Snell Group, they worked on software development and project management as a Software Consultant. Andrew subsequently joined Starfish Technologies Ltd as a Development Manager, leading the software development team and managing pre-sales activities. Andrew then served as the Head of Workflow and Media Asset Management at Snell Advanced Media, driving the development of media management and workflow offerings. Prior to their current role at EditShare as the Senior Director of Software Engineering, they worked at Grass Valley as the Senior Director of Product Development and Product Line Manager, overseeing the development of playout product lines and media management solutions. Throughout their career, Andrew has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the industry.

Andrew Dix attended Oxford Brookes University from 1988 to 2001, where they earned a BEng (Hons) degree in Electronic Engineering.
