Gravyty appoints Marijana Radić Boone Director of Data Solutions and Implementation

Artificial intelligence company Gravyty has welcomed Marijana Radić Boone to its team as Director of Data Solutions and Implementation. Ms. Radić Boone’s primary responsibility will be to build and execute data solutions that satisfy the needs of Gravyty customers. As we continue to empower nonprofit organizations to transform and scale fundraising with our AI solutions, we are relentlessly committed to advancing our customers' success," said Gravyty co-founder and CEO Adam Martel. "Marijana joins Gravyty's amazing team of advancement professionals who are committed to helping our mission-driven partners change the world for the better." Ms. Radić Boone has nearly 20 years of experience working in technology in the nonprofit sector, including at prominent companies such as Blackbaud, Coastal Community Foundation, Oregon Health & Sciences University Foundation, Doernbecher Children's Hospital Foundation, Fusion Labs, and College of Charleston, where she was a Gravyty customer. She is also a cycling advocate, volunteering her time on the Charleston Parks Conservancy and the city’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Council. "I've had the pleasure of working with the Gravyty team in the past as an advancement leader and customer. I understand first-hand that my professional mission to use technology in ways that empower nonprofits to achieve their greater mission aligns with Gravyty's transformative AI solutions," said Ms. Radić Boone. Dr Reed Sheard named Chair of the AAAC

Dr Reed Sheard named Chair of the AAAC

Industry body, the AI in Advancement Advisory Council (AAAC), has announced the appointment of Reed Sheard as its Chair. Dr. Sheard is a founding member of the AAAC, and in his new role he will continue to build on its work to facilitate discussion and evaluation on the impact of AI on advancement. "Reed has been an amazing champion and partner to all nonprofit organizations as they embark on digital-first strategies that transform the ways we work, and ultimately produce philanthropic outcomes that weren't possible just a few short years ago," said AAAC member and Gravyty CEO Adam Martel. "As artificial intelligence rapidly accelerates advancement to new and more impactful outcomes, I couldn't think of a better person to take over the leadership of the nonprofit sector's AI council, and I look forward to working with him as we continue to expand our impact." Dr. Sheard is the current CIO and Vice President of Advancement for Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA. An expert in cloud computing, technology and AI, he is also an experienced director, including on the Higher Education Practice Group of the CIO Executive Council, the CIO Innovation Council at Salesforce, and the MIT Enterprise Forum for the Central Coast. "I am grateful for the opportunity to lead the AAAC and thrilled to accelerate the education of AI in advancement. I appreciate the work my good friend, Adam Martel, has done to introduce this discussion to the industry, and I plan to build on that momentum," said Dr. Sheard. "Over the next two years, we aim to make the AAAC an organization that extends its footprint to the entire advancement audience by educating our peers on why AI matters and how it can help grow support for our various nonprofit organizations."
