Geoff Patterson has a diverse work experience in the field of mathematics. Geoff started their career as a SUPER-M Fellow and Teaching Assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2009. During this time, they also worked as a Research Assistant and gained valuable experience in academic research. In 2015, Geoff moved on to the University of Michigan as a Postdoctoral Researcher, further expanding their expertise.

In 2016, Geoff joined IXL Learning as a Math Curriculum Developer and later became a Senior Curriculum Developer. Geoff played a crucial role in developing math curricula to enhance students' learning experience.

In 2019, Geoff began working at Great Minds as a Mathematician/Subject Matter Expert. Geoff later took on the position of Mathematician Manager and Content Lead in July 2021, demonstrating their leadership skills and expertise in mathematics.

Through their various roles at different institutions, Geoff has established himself as a dedicated professional with a strong background in mathematics and a passion for education.

Geoff Patterson pursued their education starting from 2004 to 2009 at Grand Valley State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Statistics. Later, from 2009 to 2015, they attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as "Daniel Pink on Motivation," "Giving and Receiving Feedback," and "Writing in Plain English" from LinkedIn in 2019 and 2021.
